Kai Bravo is a plant-based health coach, author, and filmmaker. She has been a chef for more than 35 years, cooking in restaurants, on TV, in private homes of celebrities, including Steven Spielberg, Cybill Shepherd, Harrison Ford, Rodney Dangerfield, and others. Her cooking and teaching style makes healthy eating easy, fun, delicious and beautiful.
Kai started her own successful catering business at 16, and worked as a chef at upscale restaurants and two film studios. At a young age Kai worked for several personal growth organizations. Over the last 22 years, Kai has pioneered vegan and gluten-free gourmet cooking with her cleansing retreats and cooking classes, focusing on overall health and wellbeing.
She has just released an uplifting film, "Kai's Garden: a Wild Journey to Glowing Health” (full length film available on Youtube), along with the companion book, “Kai’s Garden: The Juicy Details,” which is full of photos, recipes, stories, useful and inspiring information, tools, tricks and tips! She offers one-on-one conversations to support people on their own path to glowing health. Her first book, “The BLT That Saved My Life,” chronicles her “...true story of glimpsing death, the extreme joy that followed, and the eight simple words that keep that joy alive”.
Kai's personal journey from years of being overweight and unhealthy to the freedom and joy of a lighter, healthier body and spirit has helped her be of service to others on their path to a healthier, more joyful life.
